that was excelent! , it didnt really do anything cool, but it looked awesome!
I GOT 99 PROBLEMS BUT A WHEELSET AINT ONE.
not my first choice, but fair, reasonable, development.
called the shop in the UK, chris was very apologetic ( and i still think he’s a decent guy who’s had just had a horrific run of luck ).
he’s sent the propper skewers VIA air mail express + an “apology bouquet” of tubes and other bits and bobs with them.
he’s NOTABLY paid for the wheels to be trued and...

AND i want the wheels, if i get a refund i will use it to buy the wheels from a local shop ( when i can afford it )
my wheels arived! fuckin sigh...
yesterday ( having recieved a calling card from a courier ) i went to the depot and picked up a parcel,
in the parcel was a set of wheels i had bought from an online retailer way back in november ( 25th? ) which had finally arived. ( despite the shipping number saying otherwise ).
i took the wheels out of the box, and was surprised to find the spokes where not what i had ordered ( and paid for...

50k commute + 16k race
3rd day and im starting to feel comfortable on the bike.
faught the whole way to stick with the B Grade pack.
led-out the sprint knowing i didnt have the legs and coasted the line in last place
(3dnf’s.)
interesting note- followed two very experienced fast riders through a rough patch, both on clinchers, both blew out. tubs held up fine.
